Marcus Newling

Podcast Co-Host

I'm looking forward to experience doing something slightly different than I normally do, while also getting practical skills for possible tasks as a teacher.

Marcus is a senior majoring in English Education. This is his first semester at The Crossings, and he will be serving as Podcast Co-Host. While Marcus needs to work on one of the Practicum staffs for his major, he specifically chose The Crossings to work with and learn from our wonderful faculty advisor Jennifer Ochstein.

Marcus was born in Mishawaka, Indiana. He aspires to teach at Penn High School as well as potentially play or coach professional baseball. It comes as no surprise that Marcus's favorite hobby is baseball, but he also enjoys reading from time to time. His favorite series is the 39 Clue Series, and his favorite author is either Rick Riordan or David Baldacci.
