Lydia Trowbridge

Developmental Editor

I'm looking forward to expanding my writing skills, improving my editing abilities, and becoming more of an active member of the writing community.

Lydia Trowbridge is a freshman studying English & Writing. She started The Crossings in the Fall of '24 as Commissioning Editor & Content Creator. Now, she has assumed the role of Developmental Editor for the Authors on the Rise publication. Lydia enjoyed her experience last semester and is excited to continue pursuing work experience.

Lydia grew up in Valparaiso, Indiana, and hopes to one day work in the creative writing field. She enjoys hanging out with friends, watching TV/movies, writing, and reading. Her favorite novels include classics like Little Women and Pride & Prejudice, in addition to more recent books like The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo. Overall, Lydia's favorite author is Jane Austen.
