Kadie Sue Martin
Managing Editor + Podcast Host
I'm excited to further explore my love of writing and to become more involved on campus during my time at The Crossings. I love writing; I also love editing papers—tweaking them for more precise wording and developing the original content more thoroughly.
Kadie Sue is a junior majoring in English + Writing as well as Liberal Arts. She joined The Crossings in Fall '22 as Commissioning + Associate Editor and Content Contributor before being promoted to Managing Editor. She hopes to more fully explore her love of writing and to become more involved with the Bethel campus through Student Council, the Writing Center, and being a Commuter Assistant.
Kadie Sue grew up in South Bend, Indiana where, in 7th grade, she joined the high school varsity volleyball team. She dreams of one day becoming a screenwriter or secretary. In her free time, she enjoys singing in the car while driving and playing volleyball. When she writes, she often enjoys writing poems or songs but she's most likely to pick up a mystery when choosing something to read. Her favorite literary work is the Shadow and Bone Series by Leigh Bardugo, and she also enjoys the works of Edgar Allen Poe.
